The directory of services provides information on local employability and skills services including training, support with job searches, health, money advice and more for all age groups as well as information from schools, partners and services working to support the development of skills for life, skills for learning and skills for work in our young people.

This service enables customers to create Email & Universal Job Match accounts with tuition in basic computing skills including an introduction to our On-line Basics course which uses interactive learning modules.

The Smoking Matters service offers smokers throughout Dumfries & Galloway assistance in stopping smoking. Meetings are held in Health and Community Centres across the region, including more remote and isolated communities.

The IT Centre offers 1-2-1 support to help people gain confidence in using in a computer by learning new skills from the complete beginner to more advanced, help to make a claim online for benefits, such as Universal Credit, set up and use a Universal Job Match account to search for a job, create and maintain an email address to apply for jobs online and develop and upload a CV.
