Job Title:  Counter Assistants

Location:  Kirkconnel

Hours:     25+ hours per week.  Due to funding restrictions this vacancy is only open to candidates aged 25+ who meet the Pathways Wage Incentive criteria. This job may be part funded opportunity through the European Social Fund, eligibility conditions apply.

Job Requirements:

 

Counter Assistants role involves serving customers, dealing with customer enquiries and money handling.

Your personal attributes must include: -

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Bubbly personality

  • Be responsible and trustworthy

  • Flexible attitude towards working hours

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Have good attention to detail in terms of understanding customers order and ensuring order is prepared correctly

  • You will be working as part of a small team so the ability to use your initiative is key

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Duties include: -

  • Preparation and service of food

  • Customer service

  • Money handling

  • Stock rotation

  • General cleaning duties

  • Answering telephone

    Must be flexible and able to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Experience preferred but not essential!!
