Addiction Worker Training Project – Dumfries & Galloway

Do you have history of a drug or alcohol problem?

If you are interested in developing a career in the drug and alcohol field, and you are either two years drug free (one year free of substitute prescribing) or 2 years free of problematic alcohol use by 31 October 2020, we’d like to hear from you.

We offer £8.72 per hour before deductions with a fixed term contract of 30 hours per week for 39 weeks. Trainees will undertake work placements in social care agencies and will study towards an SVQ 2 in Social Services and Health Care.

Full training and a comprehensive package of support will be provided.
