This is the inaugural presentation of this prestigious award and recognises Gary’s contribution to making a difference in the lives of young people by supporting the development of their skills to promote their work readiness. The other nominees were Jas P. Wilson Forest Machines who have also created pioneering relationships with educational establishments especially Dalbeattie High School and Springboard, a charity that works hard to train and equip young people for the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries. Both nominees would have also been very worthy recipients of the award.
