Inspiring Futures - Health, Emergency and Social Care event
Our annual career event is aimed at school age (Year 3 transitioning into year 4) students to showcase the vast array of careers across Health, Emergency and Social Care in Dumfries and Galloway. The event is supported and attended by educators who offer courses in our sector from employability courses to degree level. Students will be able to have some fun interacting with activities relating to our sector from supporting our training dummies with personal care and emergency care to seeing blood science in action and how podiatry is more than just feet.
Schools will be contacted directly by organisers NHS Dumfries and Galloway for slot times. Slots for schools are available between 9am - 3pm with the event open to the public from 3pm - 4.30pm for members of the public General enquires on the event can be made to dg.jobs@nhs.scot
