Specific Covid 19 Support

SRUC has suspended face-to-face teaching.

We continue to work within government guidelines to ensure both the welfare and safety of our students and colleagues together with ensuring business continuity.

Your tutors and lecturers are still here to support and guide you via email, and on the phone. This applies to both FE and HE students.

Until you are told otherwise, please continue to work towards all assessment and exam dates. We are focusing on alternative delivery methods and mechanisms for assessment after Easter and are looking at how we will enable those with practical assessments next term to complete these.

This temporary suspension does not affect Post-Graduate Researchers (PGR); your research projects will continue as usual, but please of course continue to exercise good judgement in terms of cleanliness and look out for your colleagues and friends.

This also means that the forthcoming Postgraduate Research Conference will be cancelled.

This is not a closure of the institution. This is a temporary suspension of group teaching, as part of a phased and managed approach, which will help us to navigate through a difficult and unpredictable situation for SRUC.

If you develop symptoms, please email publichealth@sruc.ac.uk for advice and we will of course do our best to support you.
